LOOK: Miss Universe PH Queens Recreate Disney Princesses In This Shoot

Name something more iconic than this photoshoot, we'll wait. The newly crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi along with former titleholders Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo and Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez joins forces in an whimsical campaign with BYS x Disney.

Photographed by BJ Pascual, the three Filipina beauty queens looked like spitting images of Disney princesses Cinderella, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and Ariel from Little Mermaid in their golden looks.

Stylist Eldzs Mejia made sure that you can tell the story behind each custom head-to-toe ensemble with just one look. "BJ gave me the direction to not do a literal interpretation of the theme and make it more editorial and fashion-forward," says Eldzs. In terms of the color story, "We took cues from BYS’ packaging which is black and gold then directly translated that to the clothing." This campaign truly portrayed real life fairytales and proved that dreams do come true.
