#MetroStyleWatch: Heart And Sofia Take Over The Streets Of Tokyo

Fashion brand Onitsuka Tiger celebrates 75 years of true sporty cool fashion. To commemorate this big milestone, the brand took to Tokyo, Japan to and brought the biggest fashion stars to a night of style-filled soiree. Joining this event are Heart Evangelista and Sofia Andres, decked in their sports-inspired looks in full Onitsuka Tiger. 

Onitsuka Tiger, initially Onitsuka Shokai, was founded in 1949 by Kihachiro Onitsuka. What was once a sports shoes company has evolved into the modern sports fashion brand that it is today, merging style, comfort, and function. This 75th year, events in both Paris and Tokyo were held to celebrate both the fashion brand’s past, present, and future as it gears towards its centennial year. 

In Tokyo, Heart and Sofia joined the festivities with their own spin on classic pieces from the brand. Heart opted for oversized tees and sweaters, worn layered or as dresses.

Sofia, had two takes on Onitsuka Tiger’s outfitting. One is an androgynous vest-over-shirt look with cargo pants and another is a dressier feminine look—both paired with the iconic Mexico 66 pair.
