Take a look at the stylish ensembles from yesterday's historical event.
The inauguration of Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. as the 17th President of the Philippines took place yesterday at the National Museum of Fine Arts.
President Marcos Jr. and the first family were all decked in the finest works of esteemed Filipino fashion designers. The President wore a barong by Pepito Albert while the first lady Atty. Liza Araneta-Marcos’ terno was made by Lesley Mobo.
Guests also wore bespoke and ready-to-wear Filipiniana ensembles from the best of best designers. Among the many who celebrated in style were Metro Most Stylish Berna Romulo Puyat, Charmain Lagman, and Marga Nograles in modern ternos, Donya Tesoro in a dainty champagne-colored Filipiniana, and Emmeline Aglipay-Villar in not one but two looks from her favorite Filipino designers. In the gallery down below, take a look at 16 of the most outstanding looks and find out where exactly these stylish women had them made.
If you too need a terno for a certain occasion, make sure to check out our list of ready-to-wear Filipiñianas here.
