What Went Down At Bench Fashion Week S/S '23 Days 1 And 2

<p>With summer fast approaching, <strong>Bench</strong> wanted to bring the heat with its featured designers for the Spring/Summer 2023 Bench Fashion Week.</p><div><br/></div><p>This year Bench brightened up their runways with a dazzling mix of foreign and local brands. Days 1 and 2 featured the youthful foreign brands of <strong>Secret Fresh</strong> and <strong>Urban Revivo</strong>. The likes of <strong>Jaggy Glarino</strong> and <strong>TRNZ </strong>presented their Filipino-made collections alongside other innovative local brands during the first two days of BFW.  </p><div><br/></div><p>It came as no surprise that each designer was able to showcase collections that beautifully brought together their personal branding coupled with liveliness and trailblazing clothing construction. </p><div><br/></div><p>In the gallery below, we have put together the highlights of each show from Days 1 and 2 of this year’s Bench Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2023. The Good Friend Circle collection presented at the runway aimed to materialize the importance of closeness between us and our close relationships amidst issues that arise during this Internet era.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><p>Secret Fresh - As a brand, Secret Fresh designs unique apparel that nods to art and pop culture while ensuring that its creations appeal to everyone. This was seen in their recent street collection that showed off how their pieces can be worn by anyone and styled in almost any way.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><p>Jaggy Glarino - Designer Jaggy Glarino was able to perfectly capture contemporary Filipino culture in his Core Memory collection. His pieces were made to bring about nostalgia to its Filipino audience to help them remember what it was like having a classic Filipino childhood.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><p>Bon Hansen - Bon Hansen’s Simoun Collection elegantly portrayed Rizal’s leading character from his novel El Filibusterismo in a new and modern style. Through his use of crisp and innovative tailoring, Bon Hansen invites us to follow Simoun’s footsteps and lead confident artistic lives. </p></div><div class="item-desc"><p>CHED Studio - CHED Studio presented its Greatest Hits Collection to give its close circle and its audience a love letter displaying the brand’s mission and passion for what they do despite difficult times. This collection is their way of showing their gratitude towards what they have and do. </p></div><div class="item-desc"><p>Urban Revivo - Just like its brand identity of being young and contemporary, Urban Revivo’s collection continues to create fun and appealing clothing to its young audience. Their collection offered a wide range of current and fashionable pieces.</p></div><div class="item-desc"><p>Kashieca x Rhett Eala - Rhett Eala’s collection with Kashieca was able to provide the perfect mix of bright colors and neutrals, which is just right for the upcoming summer months.
