Here's What You Didn't Know About The Louis Vuitton x BTS Runway Show In Seoul!

Louis Vuitton and BTS are set for worldwide domination. After officially joining the French house as global ambassadors earlier this year, BTS took Men's Fashion Week by storm with their fashion biggest project yet. Spearheaded by creative director Virgil Abloh, the collection was presented as a spin-off of the original F/W 2021 show that was presented earlier this year in January. As part of his The Voyage series, Abloh aims to present his collections in different ways and contexts across the globe. From Tokyo, Shanghai, now to Seoul, Louis Vuitton is bound for an even greater reach in world domination now that they have the biggest boyband as their mainstay. 

In the 10-minute fashion film directed, produced, and made possible by a predominantly South Korean crew, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, Jungkook, and V each donned never-before-seen looks to complete and further elevate Abloh’s collection. The Bangtan boys looked towering as traveling businessmen beside and inside the illuminated indoor skyscraper. 

There’s a lot to unpack, from the Tourist VS. Purist LV Keepalls, the flowing floor-length coats, African draped wraps, kilts, and Western hats, to every piece of clothing that can be associated with aircrafts. It would be an understatement to say that BTS came, saw, and conquered in strong head-to-toe Vuitton looks.
