The must-have boke flower motif will sure fly off the shelves. Get them now!

Since the successful appointment of the now-Kenzo Artistic Director Nigo, the French fashion house’s new vibe has been a hit. It must be Nigo’s penchant for hot drops and cool pieces but whatever he’s been doing, it’s working. Since his debut in January 2022, the brand has been releasing the Spring/Summer 2022 collection in capsules, centered around a motif. For this third instalment, the much awaited boke flowers are given life through as series of denim pieces. Even better, the pieces will be available in store at the opening of the new Kenzo store in Greenbelt 3 tomorrow, April 2nd.

The boke flower capsule revolves around denim—specifically Japanese denim, which is center in Nigo’s design tradition. The flower, fully embodying the spirit of summer, is seen across eight pieces for women and even for men but in a way still very genderless.

Key pieces include denim jackets and trousers with embroidered boke flower motif at the back and T-shirts with pocket detailing.

Nigo honors Kenzo’s design history. As an ode to the fashion house’s founder Kenzo Takada, each drop will highlight a natural element, all associated with the founder.
