Michelle Dee And Pia Wurtzbach Walk For Michael Cinco In Paris Fashion Week
Set at the grandiose Paris’ Vendôme, Filipino designer Michael Cinco gave PFW a glimpse of the heavenly in his S/S ‘25 latest
Within gilded walls that echoed the magnificent harmonies of orchestral music, Michael Cinco took the stage at The Westin Paris for Paris Fashion Week to present his latest spectacle of a collection. One word to describe the collection? Impalpable.
Ethereal, splendid, and with a touch of enchantment, the Dubai-based Filipino designer brought his heavenly vision to life with designs that seemingly transported the celestial and the divine to earth all at once. From shimmering textiles, tactile embellishments, and references to classical Roman splendor, Cinco pieced together a special collection that has the capacity to illuminate the Place Vendôme.
Earlier this month, the designer gave a glimpse of the collection during the Dubai Fashion Week S/S ‘25. Entitled “The Impalpable Dream of Rome”, Cinco takes cues from the Roman Empire, merging themes of ancient elegance with modern couture. Luxurious pieces detailed with intricate designs that place the designer and his team’s artistry in the foreground were the results of this magic.
With the spirit of his home country, the designer further championed Filipino talent as he brought on familiar faces to grace the Parisian set. Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee opened the show in an all-white feathery ensemble, leading a line-up of models with the likes of Dr. Hayden Kho, Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul, Miss World Philippines 2022 Gwendolyne Fourniol, topped off by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach who graciously closed the event in an all-black mermaid gown with crystal-like embellishments.
