Pushing The Envelope With These Edgy, Androgynous Looks We Spotted At Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival Day 2
There's no denying that the world of fashion has dramatically evolved through the years. Gone are the days when women had to conform to certain standards—thanks to the androgynous fashion revolution, women can now freely wear edgy, masculine outfits without feeling out of place.
This season's Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival is testament to this. The second day of the bi-annual fashion week—one of the largest in Southeast Asia—served plenty of trendy, avant-garde looks on the runway.
Renan Pecson opened the show with layered, unconventional silhouettes worth the double take, while Mark Tamayo created interesting interpretations of the classic black suit. Streetwear designer Kaye Morales mixed things up by incorporating denim, PVC, and mesh in her energetic, reborn-themed show. Finally, Billy and Stylia gave the little black dress a face lift by injecting a rebellious but wearable touch.
