EXCLUSIVE: Louis Vuitton Men's S/S 2024 Show Through The Eyes Of Paul Sunga

Metro's Fashion Week correspondent and international photographer Paul Sunga tells us what it's like to experience the LV Men's S/S 2024 in the flesh.

<p>The <a href="https://metro.style/fashion/metrostylewatch/louis-vuitton-mens-ss24-attendees/35790" target="_blank">Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring/Summer 2024</a> collection is the most talked about show of the season—and it will remain that way for the rest of the year.</p><div><br/></div><p>Present at the show himself is Metro’s Fashion Week correspondent and Hong Kong-based international fashion photographer <strong>Paul Sunga</strong>. </p><div><br/></div><p>Read down below as Paul fills us in with news from the buzziest show in Paris.</p><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:950px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img loading="lazy" src="https://assets-metrostyle.abs-cbn.com/prod/metrostyle/attachments/f44baaf0-8e5c-41ca-aa60-031a2c69b66a_psj (1).png" style="width:950px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" alt=""/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Paul Sunga in Paris for Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring/Summer 2024</span></span></span></div><p><strong>Pharrell Williams</strong> made history as he launched his first collection as the Men&#x27;s Creative Director of <strong>Louis Vuitton</strong>. Held at the Pont Neuf bridge, which was was transformed into a golden runway, the collection showcased a total of 74 looks. Celebrities from Beyoncé and Jay-Z to Rihanna and A$AP Rocky to Zendaya, LeBron James, Tyler, the Creator, Kim Kardashian, and more, witnessed the unveiling of this season&#x27;s most awaited show.</p><div><br/></div><p>The star of the collection has got to be the <strong>Damoflage</strong> patterns as seen on the floor-sweeping overcoats, matching suits with embellished pearls and crystals, collarless tapestry jackets, structured cases and trunks, oversized Speedy bags, and more. Pharrell reimagined the iconic Louis Vuitton Damier pattern to create this one-of-a-kind look. Other must-haves from the show include the iconic Speedy bag reimagined in a palette of bold primary colors and printed with the House&#x27;s monogram.</p><div><br/></div><p>The show closed with the Voices of Fire gospel choir chanting, “Joy! Joy! Joy!” with a performance that not only sparked joy, but earned a standing ovation. Pharrell composed two new pieces for the runway show including “Joy (Unspeakable)” sung by the Virginia-based choir.</p><div><br/></div><p>After the runway show, Jay-Z perform his biggest hits, with of course Pharrell joining in.
