Tracy Dizon’s “Miss Hanoi: La Douleur Exquise” Will Have You Excited For Summer Festivities
Fashion Week Brooklyn, October 2017
If you love the vibrant, modern ethnic trend that’s dominated the style radar last year, you’ll love Tracy Dizon’s new collection for the next season. Dubbed as the “fashion designer niching on quirky street fashion”, Tracy’s creations give a playful twist to the familiar, traditional apparel distinct to Asian cultures.
Her upcoming Spring-Summer ’18 line up, “Miss Hanoi: La Douleur Exquise”, won the Rise Art & Design Fashion Design Competition, and was featured in Fashion Week Brooklyn last Fall. Inspired by her visit to Hanoi, Vietnam, the collection is a whimsical combination of Vietnamese tailoring, military uniforms, traditional dress and all colors of the rainbow it seems—perfect for the warmer, brighter seasons ahead.

With a collection so colorful, no doubt Tracy has caught the attention of many fashionistas. Which fashion city she’ll light up next, no one knows for sure. But the possibility of making a New York Fashion Week is in the works, or perhaps in the Canadian cities, Vancouver and Toronto.
