#MetroStyleWatch: Heart Evangelista's Paris Couture Week Style Diary
No surprise here—Heart Evangelista continues to wow us with her stylish looks all the way from Paris Haute Couture Week!
The #MetroMostStylish woman jetted off to Paris for this year's Haute Couture Week to see the jaw-dropping shows of designers like Gaultier, Christian Louboutin, and Schiaparelli. She herself got her fashion fix from some of the world's top design houses as we patiently waited for her serving of new street style looks to covet! And boy did we get served.
Paris Haute Couture Week happened this past week (June 30-July 4) and together with Metro Executive Editor and Fashion Stylist Kat Cruz-Villanueva, Heart took the Parisian streets by storm one outfit at a time. Check out the jaw-dropping ensembles she and Kat came up with, for your dose of fashion inspo!
Donning a piece from her own collab with local brand Kamiseta, Heart transformed a rather street-style Gucci bomber jacket and bandeau combo with this bold LMxKamiseta print pleated skirt, a classic Chanel bag, and a Gas Bijoux necklace.
You can count on Heart to be the ever-fearless style chameleon—one day she can be a sophisticated rocker chick, the other, a classic lady in a white Antonio Grimaldi number, Shop Maison Love Marie bag, and Louboutin peep-toe heels, all perfectly paired with a chic ponytail and red lips.
Who says checkered, plaid, or Gingham are dated prints? With a Versace (available at Distinqt) suit like this, you know you're on the right track to making the right style statement. Heart puts her signature ladylike spin on the suit with a dainty hair clip, and that insanely cute Sequioa Paris heart-shaped bag which she herself designed!
You can't put a good woman down—and you can't stop her from wearing a floor-length, fully sequined pink dress out on the street either. Heart rocks this Bono Van Peursem dress with much attitude and the cutest accessories: a nude version of her Sequioa Paris heart-shaped bag, cat-eye sunglasses, and a disheveled updo. Trés, trés chic!
Scarves are some of the most versatile pieces you could have in your closet. You can use it as an accent piece, transform it into a cocktail dress, or have it re-worked by a designer like what Heart did with her LMxKamiseta scarves. Filipino designer Popo Go flawlessly combined Heart's scarves to create this beautiful tube dress, one that she perfectly paired with a mini Hermés sling bag and Ulyana Sergeenko shades.
Lady in Waiting
Heart perfectly poses against The Iron Lady in the background in a beautiful Delpozo ensemble, Mark Bumgarner bag, and Gas Bijoux jewellery. Flounce and florals are surely the key to a fail-safe ladylike number.
Once again in Bono Van Peursem, Heart takes suit dressing to a different level in a sequined pair of wide leg pants, a matching suit jacket, and a bandeau for a little bit of risk. She finishes it off with a tiny sling Hermés bag that packs her day's essentials!
On the Edge
Heart watches the Gaultier show in an equally edgy ensemble paired with Casadei boots, and a royal blue version of her favorite Hermés sling bags. We're not used to seeing Heart in black, but we must say she looks stunning in this unexpected getup!
