The Top Red Carpet Rule-Breakers At The 57th Baeksang Arts Awards—But Still So Good!
See whose looks prevailed at last night's red carpet!
Interpreting the red carpet dress code for the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards is such a thrill every awards season. The most stylish South Korean actors and actresses successfully graced the ceremony in their best black and white ensembles in true K-drama fashion. Just take a look at our Best Dressed men and women to see how much they gave justice to this year's theme! Although we would love to talk more about their timeless red carpet looks, we think it's only fitting to also put our focus on the ones who chose to break the rules.
From Kim So-hyun's bright yellow cut-out dress, Song Joong-ki's white and brown suit ensemble, to Yoo Ah-in's two-tone velvet suit, take a look at our short but noteworthy list down below to see our favorite red carpet rebels and their non-conforming looks!
Kim So-hyun
We can never thank Kim So-hyun enough for giving us a red carpet breather after seeing all the black and white looks last night! This beaming yellow cut-out dress perfectly encapsulated So-hyun's feminine sense of style. The ribbon detail and semi-puffed sleeves on this dress was like the cherry on top of this look.
Yoo Ah-in
Yoo Ah-in gave us his own take on this year's dress code and he definitely did not disappoint! Subtlety conforming and rebelling against the theme, Ah-in donned a dark blue velvet suit ensemble.
Song Joong-ki
Is there anything this man can't wear? Song Joong-ki can choose to wear this white and brown suit every day and we'll still fall in love with him. While we wait for that to happen in real life, we're sticking to binge-watching Vincenzo all day and all night!
