This Just In: BTS Is Now The New Face Of Louis Vuitton!

BTS Army, we have some great news! Our seven boy wonders are now officially the House Ambassadors for Louis Vuitton. The announcement made in the French luxury house’s Instagram account today caused quite the surprise to BTS fans themselves and avid followers of the brand. And we’re all for it!

The announcement post recognized the global pop group for their “uplifting messages that impart a positive influence.” Apart for their Grammy nominated music, the Korean group has been very vocal about their messages of hope. In 2018, BTS gave a speech at the United Nations supporting the launch of Generations Unlimited, a partnership to help the youth gain more access to quality education and employment. Their upbeat sense of fashion and their vocations, two hallmarks of the Louis Vuitton brand, make them the perfect ambassadors today.

For their first shoot as House Ambassadors, RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook are seen in delectable pastel looks from Louis Vuitton Men’s Artistic Director Virgil Abloh’s latest collection. “I am looking forward to this wonderful partnership which adds modern chapter to the House, merging luxury and contemporary culture,” says Virgil in the post.

This partnership was a long time coming. BTS has been supporting the brand in the recent years with some of their major appearances wearing Louis Vuitton. They were seen in Louis Vuitton F/W ’20 for their press conference for their hit sensation “Dynamite.” Quite recently, the boy group walked the Grammys red carpet in another Fall/Winter collection for this year. “Becoming global brand ambassadors for Louis Vuitton is a truly exciting moment for us. We are excited for our upcoming projects with Virgil Abloh," adds BTS.

Louis Vuitton’s current direction of loose silhouettes and contemporary textures and dynamism are something aligned with BTS’ aesthetic. We definitely can’t wait to see them in more Louis Vuitton looks!
