Seize The Summer With Debenhams Spring/Summer 2019 Collection

Debenhams goes full throttle with a vibrant, cheerful vibe this Spring/Summer 2019. And whether it’s for his or hers, for children, toddlers and/or tiny tots, Debenhams is ready to provide with a variety of options that should fit every mood, occasion, and personality.

For the men, the old stand-bys Red Herring and Jasper Conran have their new collections. Red Herring is more for the rugged, active young adult - harking on 90’s nostalgia, with a bit of the grit and grunge of the era; while Conran caters to the more style-conscious. The new kid on the block is Racing Green—a new line of casual wear that’s distinctly British, but relaxed and carefree in a good way.

For the women, Red Herring, Principles, John Rocha, and Julien MacDonald all have new collections; we were taken most by MacDonald’s animal print dresses, and his bold, power ensembles. With touches and accents of gold hardware and leather finishes, there’s something of a sheen and opulence to this collection, belying the very reasonable price points.

Speaking of animals, the in-house BlueZoo range draws inspiration from our favorites from the animal kingdom. For the girls, Zebras and mythical Unicorns are a strong motifs; while Shark Attack takes care of the boys. There are adorable sleep suits that will be ready for Mother’s Day; and before that, look out for the Easter chick designs for babies and toddlers that should be on the shelves very soon.

For those parents who love playing the matching game, Mantaray has a range of whimsical and dainty designs that play up these Mommy-and-Me or Daddy-and-Me scenarios.

And for those looking to decorate their homes, check out the MW by Matthew Williamson Home Collection—there are jeweled designs, embroidered details, and patchwork velvet motifs all adding luster to their tropical bohemian look. From decorative pineapples, to picture frames, vases, tabletop accessories, and more, there’s much to love from Matthew Williamson.

Debenhams has, over the years, evolved to be a strong favorite with Filipino shoppers. This has happened on the strength of reasonable price points, reliable and sturdy merchandise, and a sense of style that stays very British while imbued with universal appeal.
