The iconic French brand comes back to celebrate 25 years with a new look.

If you’ve been under the radar for 90s fashion, you would know that Marithe + Francois Girbaud pioneered today’s stylish casual closet staple. The brand reigned the 90s with its dark-washed denim that brought French casual into its worldwide debut. The iconic French brand first came to the Philippines with one thing in mind: denim invasion.

25 years ago, kolehiyalas started taking strolls along Escolta sporting the newest M+FG denim. Since then, the French brand became every fashionista’s closet staple. From menswear to womenswear, M+FG provided elevated casuals to every size and identity. Today, M+FG relaunches and brings back the iconic denim it was famous for.

ICYMI: M+FG celebrated their silver anniversary at the Top of the Alpha. The exclusive guest list was filled with several fashion veterans and new-age digital influencers. Inspired by art, music, and fashion, Girbaud introduced their new look through striking visuals. Guests were lucky enough to get hands on the newest pieces from Girbaud. From embossed logo tees to Girbaud’s denim jeans, it was a party full of fashion treats.

Obee Ham, the Business Development Head of Retail Dynamics, Inc., was beyond excited for the brand’s relaunch, his team was behind Girbaud’s Manila revival. Obee emphasized that “The brand has always been known to be innovative and we made sure that it will be carried over to this exciting new phase.”
