LOOK: Senator Nancy Binay Reuses Old SONA Outfit And It’s Amazing!
She hit it right this time!
On last Monday’s State of the Nation Address, Senator Nancy Binay rewears a look she’s used before. This Randz Ortiz black piña barong with callado design was her outfit at President Rodrigo Duterte’s very first SONA in 2016 and now was the perfect time to rewear it during his last.
The looks was uncomplicated yet still gets the job done. Worn with pinstripe trousers and a rope belt, the casual take on traditional-wear is something applauded by the netizens. She finishes it off with a matching face mask that only adds life to the look.

On her Twitter, the Senator posted the looks from 5 years ago and it was a major redo! The 2016 SONA look was more formal—paired with a black skirt and a single layer of pearls. She then uses the hashtag #WearLocal and #RecycledSONAOUtfit to promote local designs and that there is nothing wrong in using a piece from our wardrobe.

Apart for the outfit, Senator Nancy also drew Paris for her beauty look: straight hair and highlights towards the end.
Now this is a full circle look!
