The pieces have this forever-elevated basics slant to them, fusing comfort and technology in every cut and hemline.

Uniqlo U Fall/Winter 2020

Release Date: October 16

540x540

Named “Future of Lifewear Essentials,” the Uniqlo U collection is the brainchild of Parisian designer and artistic director Christophe Lemaire, with headquarters in France under the Uniqlo Paris R&D center. For F/W ’20, we find a modern wardrobe guided by minimalism and functionality as its watchwords. Filled with neutrals and skin tones, the women’s line are filled with comfort pieces that evoke warmth and coziness in the form of vintage-cut dresses, simple, straight silhouettes, and menswear-inspired pieces in sensual, feminine shapes. The men get to enjoy a merging of classic and sportswear influences in more textured pieces like corduroy, wool-blend fleece, and jersey.

Together, the Uniqlo U this season offers a rich collection of pieces that are punctuated with a classic look in warm hues that make them season-less and worthy of re-wears.
