Winter Wear We Can Actually Wear In Manila Right Now

We are totally #blessed as of late, as Manila heat has taken a back seat, and chilly weather seems to keep delighting us every single morning. Here's hoping the lovely climate doesn't go away anytime soon, as summer is pretty much just around the corner. In terms of fashion, there's been a shift from cotton shirts and sundresses to layering with a light jacket or thicker pullovers, and we've got the fashion gods to thank that we Filipinos can finally express our personal style with a bit of layering.

Georgina Wilson does chilly weather with a chic leather jacket layered over a basic white tee.

While Uniqlo's Heattech pieces and snow-worthy puffer jackets are truly reserved for countries with weather less than 10 degrees, that doesn't mean we can't join in on the winter bandwagon either! We scoured the net for pieces we can add to our wardrobe for the next coming weeks to help upgrade your style in cool weather without looking like you tried too hard to bust out those boots with the fur. Check 'em out here:

A ribbed pullover is a classic pick for layering. Get them in neutrals for unlimited style equations!

Leather pants are a cool city girl option for chilly nights out or a hot date! There are nice cuts apart from skinny ones out on the market right now, especially that winter wear is on sale almost everywhere! Score!

Denim jackets are a favorite of mine, and should be a staple in every stylish woman's closet. They're incredibly versatile, convenient, and timeless! Throw a denim jacket over a dress and it immediately creates a brand new look. Get an oversized one this season!

The classic trench is a great layering piece - especially if put over a similar color palette to get in on the monochromatic trend.

Maximize this time to rock those long-sleeved dresses to every social occasion you can imagine. Come summer time, it won't be as comfortable as we hope it would!
