Zalora Is Back! The E-Retailer Is Now Resuming Fashion Deliveries Nationwide, Too
Here's what to expect before you start shopping online again.
After a temporary halt in operations, Zalora is now resuming its deliveries nationwide. This swift response is upon the government's statement released on April 28, 2020, allowing the delivery of non-essential items like clothing and accessories at this moment. After a month off, #ZaloraIsBack but right before you start online shopping again, you might have questions about the delivery time, returns and exchanges, or what to expect on their website now that the need for goods have changed. In Metro exclusive, we interview Paulo Campos, co-founder and CEO of Zalora Philippines to bring light onto our queries before we head to checkout.
In addition to their website, Zalora now offers the Essentials section where curated goods for our homes are compiled to make online shopping easier. In this section you will find food, medicine, toiletries, and other necessities for every consumer. Apart from the essentials, there is an increase in demand for loungewear, sleepwear, innerwear, hair accessories, as well as yoga-wear and other fitness essentials. This just proves that people during the ECQ are on either chill or hustle mode! Either way, we're sure of winning in both categories especially when we can now shop for newer outfits.
On masks, face shields, and PPE suits, Paulo confirms that they are in the works on selling these items in Zalora. "We understand that most suppliers are prioritizing hospitals right now, but we are working on making them available on our platform to give more shoppers access to a mask for everyone’s protection and help curb the spread of COVID-19," Paulo reassures.
Together with Zalora, we are adjusting to our new normal and its best to understand that their team is working with their best efforts and health on the line. If there are any delay on delivery, best believe that your package will arrive to your home either way. On returns and exchanges, every consumer is still entitled to the 30-day rule. Rest assured that the the Zalora staff are also safe while at work. Paulo is taking control over safety precautions all over their workstations and delivery units. Split work hours are implemented for employees who continue to work on site, social distancing, and hand sanitizer stations are ensured in every area, and disinfecting of workstations are on the works every night.
