<p>Jordy Navarra’s cooking is heading skyward.</p><p><a href="https://www.instagram.com/qatarairways/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong></strong>Qatar Airways<strong></strong></a> has added Jordy Navarra<strong></strong>, chef-owner of one-MICHELIN-starred <a href="https://www.instagram.com/toyoeatery/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Toyo Eatery</a>, to its ongoing “Flavours to Fly For” program, bringing an exclusive menu designed for premium cabins on flights departing from Manila to Doha. The main course is braised beef short ribs in tiyula itum, finished with charred coconut, eggplant, and heirloom Tinawon rice. Dessert features sans rival cake with Philippine chocolate sorbet.</p><p>For lighter fare, passengers can choose a pansit noodle ensalada with chayote and pomelo, while breakfast is served as a purée of arroz caldo with chicken, anchovy, and egg.</p><p>“I’m thrilled to partner with Qatar Airways to share the rich flavours of the Philippines,” Navarra said in a video released by the airline.</p><p>Now flying in premium cabins on the Manila–Doha route, the menu represents a high-profile platform for contemporary Filipino cuisine at 40,000 feet.</p>
