<p>Manam, known for turning Filipino classics into polished, playful dishes, with some dishes only available at its Ayala Triangle flagship branch.</p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1777028022846Manam at the Triangle - Paboritos.jpeg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/></div><p>The branch opened last January 2024, launched as the flagship as Manam embarked on its new decade. The Moment Group envisoned this flagship branch to serve up Manam favorites in this bright, airy space as it continues to redefine casual, comfort Filipino dining.</p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1777028071161Screenshot 2026-04-24 at 6.52.20 PM.png" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/> </div><p>“We built Manam at the Triangle because we wanted to create a Manam dining room where you would not feel rushed, no matter the time of day,” says Abba Napa, restaurateur and Moment Founder, back when they opened the branch.</p><p>This is the feeling that the Metro team experienced one Monday morning. Before going inside, the team went around the Ayala Triangle Gardens, leisurely browsing books in the OPENBOOK pop-up, appreciating the various art installations such as supersized birds and animals. </p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1777028133541Screenshot 2026-04-24 at 6.52.52 PM.png" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/></div><p>Inside the restaurant, there was a sense of familiarity—having been to many other branches of Manam in the past—but knowing that it is an entirely different Manam experience. They say that this “familiar but unusual” feeling is brought about by the use of traditional materials and elements of Filipino life subtly woven into the shop’s interiors, from the wooden screens by the facade, inspired by the windows of old Filipino homes, and even the pendant lamps in the dining area that reference fishing nets used by fishermen. </p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Special Menu and Favorites at Manam at the Triangle</strong></div><p>One of the most memorable dishes is the <strong>Tutong sa Kawali Rice Adobo</strong>—where savory rice is cooked to a crisp, and tossed in adobo sauce, and then topped with flakes. We love this paired with <strong>Hoy! Gising Gising</strong>, a meatless, chilled, and slightly spicy starter that opens up the palate nicely.</p><div><br/></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1777028197342Manam at the Triangle - Tutong sa Kawali Rice (Dulong) (1).jpeg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/></div><div><br/></div><p>Then there’s the <strong>Whole Spatchcock Chicken Inasal</strong>, a smoky special, available only in the flagship, and takes around 45 minutes to be served. Definitely worth the wait!</p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1777028268281Manam at the Triangle - Whole Spatchcock Chicken Inasal.jpeg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/></div><div><br/></div><p>We also tried the <strong>Crispy Lumpiang Ubod,</strong> the <strong>Baby Squid in Olive Oil and Garlic,</strong> and the <strong>Chicken Skin Chicharon</strong>.</p><p>And for those of you who love the <strong>Crispy Pancit Palabok</strong>, there’s a version with Black Ink: The <strong>Crispy Black Ink Palabok,</strong> which we highly recommend.</p><p>Then there’s the <strong>Crispy Beef Tadyang</strong>, which we always reach out for in this branch.</p><p>We ended the tasting with sweetness: The<strong> Bibingka de Leche</strong>, <strong>Gata Leche Flan</strong>, and their version of Halohalo. </p><div><br/></div><p>Truly, a trip to Manam at the Triangle is an experience worth looking forward to!</p>
