Authentic Japanese Milk Bar FRNK Is Now Available For The Northerners

Forget about milk tea! Try FRNK's "craft milk" creations—they have coconut, almond, and brown rice milk options that are guilt-free!

If you’re finicky about your drink choices and also your calorie count, this newly-opened milk bar in TriNoma might just have the drink that you’re looking for.

Let’s face it, they’re just too many milk tea places nowadays. And, frankly, most of them are bad. Enter FRNK. While it’s not necessarily a milk tea place, FRNK has a good selection of artisanal drinks that milk tea fans will enjoy and, most likely, post on their feeds. Did we mention their creations are really feed-worthy?

Unlike your typical milk tea place, FRNK calls itself an authentic Japanese milk bar, which basically means their drinks are milk-based and are flavored with tea which comes directly from a company in Kyoto called Morihan. A quick look at their menu and you’ll see that they’re serious about their tea.

So for serious tea connoisseurs, be sure to try their HOUJICHA or MACCHA LAVA CHIZU, tea-based milk drinks with pearls and must-try mochi! If you’re looking for something with chocolate, the KOKOA MAGMA is a good choice. And if you’re not really the adventurous type, the CEREAL MIRIKU is FRNK’s take on cereal milk which also comes with a cereal cookie.

They offer regular dairy milk and non-fat milk as well as alternatives such as brown rice, almond, and coconut milk.

And while their vast selection will seem overwhelming a first glance, just ask their staff to find the drink for you. They also have dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan-friendly, and plant-based options so if you’re really conscious about your food choices, you can customize it to suit your taste and preference. You may upgrade your "craft milk" with basil drops, blue tea pearls, or blue tea mochi. You may also adjust have the sweetness of your drink adjusted and have add-on milk.

Complement your drink with sweet treats from their bake bar; they have the Flourless Chizu Cake, Nama Baked Cheese Best Nut Butter Brownie, Flourless Double Kokoa Cake, and Japanese Chess Cookies.

FRNK also has branches in Glorietta 3 and Bonifacio High Street, and will soon open in SM North EDSA. It's an original brand by Frostfive Inc. and Isabelle Daza.
