Chill With "EIC On The Move's" Raul Manzano At This Garden-Inspired Cocktail Lounge In Makati

A pocket garden perched high above the city streets is the easy modern version of paradise made accessible. No long drives necessary, all you need to do is step into an elevator. Raul Manzano, host of EIC On The Move and editor-in-chief of Metro Society, checks out the most chill green space in the metro. 

Botaniko Herbal Urban Lounge is perched high above bustling Ayala Avenue. This new al fresco cocktail bar is located just off Sage Bespoke Grill. Gilles Baurieres, Sage’s F&B Director, says they drew inspiration from botanical gardens around the world to transform the al fresco terrace into a “natural getaway in the middle of the city, full of plants and a wonderful sense of the outdoors.”

The menu honors the hotel’s commitment to sustainability, and thus uses locally sourced ingredients, including produce grown in the small back garden by the executive chef. The drinks are artisanal and made in partnership with Destileria Limtuaco in a drive to focus on Filipino craft spirits, as well as on brands involved in sustainability.
