These Influencers Had A Cook-Off—Find Out Who Made The Best Carbonara!

Hardly a new product, Del Monte’s Carbonara Style Spaghetti Sauce has helped satisfy the hunger of many people. Carbonara lovers can have a generous serving of their pasta dish in just under thirty minutes. This time around, though, it’s even creamier and more delicious.

“We wanted to show how convenient and easy it is to make carbonara,” says Maria Isabel Santiago, Product Manager of Del Monte Carbonara Style Spaghetti Sauce. “You just sauté, mix, and pour.”

Some of the most influential people on social media, from YouTube personality Benedict Cua, celebrity dancer Riva Quenery, yoga enthusiast and travel vlogger Kryz Uy, and fashion blogger David Guison tried it out for themselves in a cook-off to see whose carbonara reigns supreme.

In the end, Kryz ’s perfectly-proportioned carbonara topped the competition. Chef Portia Baluyut-Magsino of Rustic Mornings judged the cook-off challenge, revealing that the secret to a great-tasting carbonara is the sauce.
