Promises of forever resonate well with newlyweds Dani Barretto and Xavi Panlilio who tied the knot last April 23 at The Peninsula Manila hotel in the Rigodon Ballroom.

The intimate wedding celebration was graced by the couple's closest family and friends, as well as celebrities Joshua Garcia, Bela Padilla, Erich Gonzales, and Michele and Marco Gumabao. Dani's fellow influencers David Guison, Vina Guerrero, and Kerwin King were also present show their love and support for the couple.

Dani looked ravishing in her couture ball gown designed by Patricia Santos, and her smile illuminated the room throughout the night; for the reception, she changed into another beautiful gown by Joe San Antonio. Each and every moment during the wedding highlighted the unconditional and genuine love Dani and Xavi have for each other, and all the guests definitely felt the love in the air. 

 

 

After the ceremony at Santuario de San Antonio Parish in Forbes, guests gathered on the mezzanine of The Peninsula Manila for cocktails, and enjoyed a savory Naked Spread by Naked Patisserie. As per the bride’s request, the spread featured a variety of fine cheeses and cold cuts, such as manchego curado, gouda chili sambal, gouda green pesto, brie, roast beef, pepperoni, and prosciutto.

Other crowd favorites on The Naked Spread were The Naked Foodie signature southern chicken salad, deviled eggs, and homemade pickled garlic roasted pepper relish on toasted baguette. Katarina Rodriguez raved about the chocolate Oreo cheesecake truffles, a popular wedding giveaway served to guests at Iza Calzado & Ben Wintle and Moira de la Torre & Jason Marvin Hernandez’s weddings as well.

As guests entered the ballroom beautifully decorated by pioneer event stylist Robert Blancaflor, The Manila Philharmonic Orchestra set the tone for a magical night filled with talented performers and lively entertainment. The Peninsula’s renowned chefs Franco Diaz and Xavier Castelo put the finishing touches on the dinner and dessert menu.

As the opening act of the dining experience, a light, fresh appetizer of Grilled Prawn Salad with avocado, sun-dried tomato, and cocktail sauce was served.

For the soup course, a delectable and savory Lobster Velouté with coconut foam, kaffir lime, and chili oil was served to the guests.

Next, guests savored the main course of herb-crusted halibut with braised chorizo beans, grilled eggplant, water spinach, sauce vierge, and crispy fennel.

To satisfy the sweet tooth, Chef Xavier Castelo prepared a Dulce de Leche Cheesecake with vanilla sauce and almond tuile.

Dani and Xavi toasted to everlasting love after the cake-cutting ceremony. The towering 3-foot high cake from Naked Patisserie was a 5-tier edible cake with alternating flavors of lemon and French vanilla, adorned with handmade sugar flowers including David Austin roses, Japanese anemone, hydrangeas, snowberries, eucalyptus and rose petals.

 

 

During the reception, guests watched in admiration as Dani’s siblings Claudia and Erich Barretto each performed and sang in honor of their sister, meaningful and heartfelt moments felt by all in attendance.
