Here’s Where To Eat, Drink, and Carouse Like the Irish On Saint Patrick’s Day

The Philippines may be halfway around the world from Ireland, but that shouldn’t stop us from partying on Saint Patrick’s Day. While March 17 commemorates Ireland’s patron saint and the arrival of Christianity to the island, the holiday has grown beyond its religious roots to become a celebration of everything Irish. So wear something shamrock green, and visit one of these neighborhood Irish pubs for a pint of beer and some Irish comfort food.

This cozy pub celebrates Irish culture combined with Filipino hospitality. Aside from regular bar chow, the pub offers such classics as Guinness Pie, Shepherd’s Pie, Bangers and Mash, plus a good beer selection, including Guinness Draught and Stout, Murphy’s Irish Stout, and a selection of Irish whiskies, too.

While the menu leans more towards regular bar chow—nachos, chicken wings, pizza—it does offer a variety of Irish drinks, whether Guinness or Murphy beer in cans, Magners Irish Cider in different flavors, and premium Jameson Irish Whiskey.
