EXCLUSIVE: Here's What Julia Barretto's Guests Feasted On During Her 22nd Birthday Party

"Under the Lemon Tree" was the theme of Julia Barretto’s 22nd birthday celebration, inspired by Restaurant Da Paolino in Capri, Italy. Every element of the party was in tune with the theme, from the lemon trees scattered throughout the Barrettos' backyard, styled by legendary stylist Gideon Hermosa, to the decadent spread of food and wine served which Marjorie Barretto carefully curated.

Upon entering the , guests first spotted a pizza station from Casa Nostra with an impressive setup. Pizza was made fresh on the spot in just minutes in one of the three ovens that Casa Nostra set up in their mobile pizza station. As guests sat at candlelit cocktail tables, they enjoyed a slice of these savory pies, while greeting one another and warming up for the festivities that were yet to come.

Next to the pizza station, parallel to the sliding glass doors leading into the Barrettos' kitchen and living space, was a Naked Spread by Naked Patisserie that was styled with lemons, basil, and rustic art. Julia posed for a photo in front of the spread, pointing to the Strawberries and Cream Cake shining with edible gold dust, and said, “This cake is so beautiful!” Crowd favorites among the spread included melon with prosciutto, homemade frittata with sun-dried tomatoes and feta cheese, creamy spinach dip with Parmesan, and a raw vegetable medley with house garlic aioli dip.

Julia was feeling the love with not one but a table full of cakes that friends and loved ones had gifted her. At the stroke of midnight, Julia’s boyfriend, Joshua Garcia, picked up her lemon-flavored 2-tier semi-naked cake from Naked Patisserie, adorned with sugar lemons and blackberries and prunes made from sugar. Greetings of “Happy Birthday to you” echoed across the yard as Julia was filled with gratitude and appreciation for the spectacular party her mother had planned for her.

Chef Florabel Co-Yatco of Florabel catered the dinner affair, preparing a bread station with various dips and a hearty buffet spread.

Guests in attendance included Julia’s boyfriend Joshua Garcia, as well as Erich Gonzales, Janella Salvador, Alora Sasam, Juliana Gomez, Maymay Entrata, Maris Racal, Chie Filomeno, Miles Ocampo, Dominic Roque, Sam Concepcion, Leila Alcasid, Ina Raymundo, Ian Veneracion, and Karla Estrada, among many others.

Not only was this party an enchanting evening, but guests were seemingly taken to a different place and time feeling as though they had experienced a true taste of Capri.
