Where To Buy Artisanal Ice Creams In Shoyu And Other Japanese-Inspired Flavors
You'll fall in love with Kurimu's unconventional flavors and luxurious silky ice creams
Ice cream is one of life’s greatest pleasures, and we’ll never tire of discovering new flavors and new ways to enjoy it. A recent find is Kurimu, a new brand of handcrafted premium ice cream with a limited roster of Japanese-inspired ice cream flavors.
There are only four flavors at the moment. Shoyu Caramel is rich and savory, sweet with complex caramel notes, and a hint of umami. Kinako (roasted soybean flour) is slightly reminiscent of roasted peanuts, with a warm, toasted aroma in a rich, dark chocolate or vanilla ice cream base. Matcha is creamy, aromatic green tea made with premium grade uji matcha. And Black Sesame is made with real, toasted black sesame seeds.
We love the mouthfeel of these ice creams, silky and creamy and packed with pure flavor. Kurimu is owned by Bryan Kong, of Crazy Katsu and Crazy Ramen fame, so we had pretty high expectations about quality — and we weren’t disappointed.
This is a pure, minimalist Japanese-style ice creams with an elegant, restrained luxury. Highly recommended.
Kurimu is made in limited quantities, so please order in advance from @kurimu.ph on Instagram, online at kurimu.ph
