The popular modern Filipino restaurant turns ten years old this September 15, and we are as surprised as you are at the realization that we’ve been enjoying their iconic House Crispy Sisig and the absolutely delish Sinigang na Beef Short Rib and Watermelon for a decade! The restaurant opened in a small corner of Greenbelt back in 2013, and almost immediately became a firm favorite with locals craving new twists on beloved Filipino dishes, and with foreigners wanting a Filipino dining experience. Its crunchy sisig was a huge hit, and was a constant in the many “top ten sisig” lists over the years. In time, the brand sprouted lots of branches, many located within Metro Manila, with a few outside the metro. Manam now makes up almost half of The Moment Group’s portfolio.

But what really solidified Manam’s place in the hearts of Filipino diners is encapsulated in one social media post (hey, it’s 2023!). “I saw a Manam diner’s social media post which said, ‘ang Manam ang paboritong pambansang kainang Pinoy’ and it is probably one of the greatest comments we’ve ever received,” says Moment Founder for Creative Development Abba Napa. “It sums up our dream for Manam, as we aim to bring it to more diners not only in the Philippines but also beyond its shores. This tenth birthday is an important one for us as we celebrate Manam and its alagang Manam philosophy.”
