Naked Patisserie Launched Its Holiday Offerings With A Lavish Event
Naked Patisserie launches Naked Spreads, Party Trays, and Gift Sets in time for the holidays
“The Naked Foodie” Christian Mark Jacobs definitely knows how to throw a memorable party. He threw a Christmas party last November 19 at the Marquis Events Place in BGC, Taguig. This was to launch his brand Naked Patisserie’s special holiday offerings. The fun and festive event gathered his family, friends, and colleagues for a night of endless partying and, of course, food sampling. The running joke: "I hope you came hungry!"
Upon arriving at the venue, the guests were immediately treated to a visual feast. A mouthwatering spread was beautifully laid out by the entrance. Against a leafy tablescape, Naked Patisserie’s Christmas products stood out with their luxurious designs.
Featured in the spread were made-to-order cakes such as the Chocoholic Truffle Cake (P2,450), Chocnut Cheesecake (P1,950), Chocolate Chip Calamansi Cheesecake (P2,150), Chocolate Espresso Cheesecake (P2,550), Pucker Up Lemon Cheesecake (P1,950), Signature Red Velvet (P1,950), Strawberries and Cream (P3,650), and Toasted Coconut Cream Dulce de Leche (P2,150).
The guests also couldn’t stop marveling at Naked Patisserie’s event giveaways that came in beautiful gift boxes: Chocnut Cheesecake Bites (P260/3 pieces), Hand-Painted French Macarons (P360/3 pieces), Luxe Cookie Gift Set (P695/12 pieces), Luxe Wine Gift Set (which starts at P4,145), and their bestseller, the Chocolate Oreo Cheesecake Truffles (P700/8 pieces). These were complemented by The Naked Foodie bottles of wine.
Serving as absolute highlights in this spread were the pine cone-accented bespoke Christmas cake and the Gingerbread House (P5,950).
Inside the ballroom, a Christmas-themed vignette was set up as a photo and a 360-degree video booth. At one end, an area was hidden by a black cloth, sparking curiosity in the venue.
The event’s program kicked off with introduction by host Phoemela Baranda. She then welcomed the man of the hour, Christian Mark Jacobs, in front to talk about his passion for cooking, the journey of Naked Patisserie, and the new offering of his brand.
“I am overflowing with joy that all of you have come out tonight to celebrate with me the grand launch of Southern Roots by Naked Patisserie party trays. This is the vision I’ve had since the day Naked Patisserie actually started, that one day, I may be able to share savory dishes that are close to my heart with all of you. Southern Roots is my way of bringing my nostalgic dishes, my passion, and my heritage for you to enjoy and share with your friends and your loved ones,” Christian said in his speech.
When all the talking was done, Christian invited everyone to look at the back to see the sumptuous spread he prepared for everyone behind the black curtain. Upon unveiling, the guests excitedly made their way to the festive banquet, taking photo after photo of the sweet and savory rustic-themed Naked Spread (we assure you, it’s Instagram-worthy from different angles!) alongside Naked Patisserie-inspired dishes prepared by Marquis.
The spread features Christian’s Southern roots recipes. To allow more personalization, Christian also launched the Build-Your-Own Naked Spread package, where clients may customize the spread based on their taste and preference. He also came up with the Celebrity Naked Spread packages; he can recreate for his clients the spreads he did for celebrities like Marian Rivera, Jinkee Pacquiao, Julia Barretto, and Verniece Enciso.
Present during the event were Christian’s husband, fashion designer Francis Libiran, and industry friends that included Arsi Baltazar, Christian Bautista, Kat Ramnani, Aicelle Santos, Mark Zambrano, Gretchen Fullido, and Ferdi Salvador.
This event wasn’t only an early Christmas celebration, it also marked and signaled the continuous evolution of Naked Patisserie as a brand.
Christian remarks, “It’s a blessing that while many people may never find their passion and purpose, I am very confident of mine, and it’s to make sure that all of you are well fed and happy.”
