LOOK: Rico's Lechon Comes Out With Fantastic Lechon Baka And We're So Stoked
Here's everything you need to know, from where to orde,r to prices and flavor selections
ICYMI, lechon baka is the hot food trend of the moment, and the craze is far from over. Just over the weekend, Cebuano brand Rico’s Lechon announced that their newest offering — tender, flavorful Lechon Baka — will be dropping on July 1. Just three days away!
The lechon baka, aka Pinoy-style roasted calf or beef, is outrageously succulent and tender with just the right mount of fat and that smoky roasted flavor that makes you crave more. We love the little charred bits that are so rich in flavor. It’s hand sliced to keep the juices in the meat, and has the lovely deep flavors that is only possible from long slow cooking.
Of course we expect no less of Rico’s Lechon which, after all, has won international awards for its “crispy, juicy, and flavorful” lechon.
The lechon baka is available in two variants and two sizes. The Original flavor comes in Junior size (good for up to two persons) at P350, and Fiesta size (good for six to eight persons) at P1,350. The Pinoy Spicy flavor is priced at P380 for the Junior size and P1,460 for the Fiesta size. Of course it comes with in the signature homemade SukaLami.
It will drop on July 1 in select branches: Rico’s Lechon BGC, Tiendesitas and UP Town Center, but you can already preorder starting today.
