Solaire Flies In 5 Rockstar Chefs For 10th Anniversary
Don't miss this rare gathering of world famous chefs and beverage experts in Manila!
For their tenth anniversary, Solaire Resort Entertainment City arranged for a truly stellar celebration, flying in five world renowned chefs who hold an eye watering ten Michelin stars between them, and beverage maestros to create the Manila’s most exciting gastronomic experience in decades. From March 16 to 18, the chefs are unleashing an exceptional lineup of menus at Solaire’s dining outlets — Finestra Italian Steakhouse, Yakumi, Red Lantern, Oasis Garden Cafe, and Waterside.
Enrico Bartolini is the only chef to be awarded four Michelin stars at the same time, including two stars for his eponymous restaurant at the MUDEC Museum of Cultures in Milan. Astoundingly, he was awarded these stars in 2016, a time when he opened eight restaurants within six months of each other. Known for creating dishes of intense flavors and delicate sophistication, Chef Enrico is creating an eight-course Contemporary Classic Dinner at Finestra on March 16 to 18; and a five-star Sunday Brunch on March 19.
A purist who’s been called an “aroma virtuoso,” Tohru Nakamura is known for the stellar seasonal European-Asian inspired cuisine served at the traditional Munich restaurant Geisel’s Werneckhof, where he won two Michelin Stars within six months of joining the culinary team. Experience his superb creations at Yakumi where he’s holding a Feast by Tohru and Team for dinner on March 16 to 18, and Tohru’s Brunch Buffet on March 19.
Renowned pastry chef René Frank has two Michelin Stars under his belt, and has won acclaim for his innovative patisserie where he spotlights natural essences, forgoing refined sugars and artificial, industrial ingredients. Catch his fantasy creations at Oasis Garden Café where he presents Progressive Dessert Dining on March 16 to 18, and a 5-Star Sunday Brunch on March 19.
Nicknamed The Demon Chef, two Michelin-starred Alvin Leung is an English-born Hong Kong-Canadian who invented his own cuisine, which he calls X-Treme Chinese. Get Dinner with the Demon Chef, an eight-course experience, on March 16 to 18. There’s also a Demonic Eat-All-You-Can Dim Sum Brunch on March 19. Both at Red Lantern.
In addition, the beverage maestros will be holding their own special events.
Don’t miss Solaire’s anniversary celebrations. We won’t see such a rare gathering of rock stars in the world of gastronomy for a long time!
