Weekend Eats: The Partying Starts Now With Libations By A Topnotch Bartender From London, Unlimited Sangria, Classic Filipino Fare, And A Korean Buffet To Satisfy Your Midnight Cravings

Bartender Series at Raging Bull Chophouse & Bar

Shangri-La at The Fort, 30th Street corner 5th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, (02) 820-0888

It’s not every day you get to try the cocktails of a world-class bartender. Only this June 7 to 9 weekend, Luca Cinalli, the Bar Manager at Oriole in London, is in town, mixing drinks from 8 pm onwards at Raging Bull Chophouse & Bar.

Oriole happens to be No. 17 on the World’s Best Bars list for 2017, and with good reason. It has perfected its fusion of Old World, New World, and “exotic Orient” in its cocktails, which Manila denizens will get to try, before or after enjoying one of Raging Bull’s signature steaks.

Myeong Dong Grill

37 Polaris Street, Bel-Air, Makati City

One of the newest restaurants in hip foodie-neighborhood Poblacion is Myeong Dong Grill, a Korean buffet starting at only P299, and that’s not even the best part!

For your late night samgyupsal cravings, you can head here because it’s open until 2 am. How’s that for a treat? Whether you’re looking for a place after your drinking sesh or somewhere to relive your K-drama hankerings, this place will surely do the trick.

Don’t forget to try these items from the delectable buffet spread: mandu (dumplings), spicy noodles 2x (yes! the one they eat in the spicy noodle challenge), and the spring rolls. For dessert, you can pick up a Melona or two at the Wang Supermarket just beside the restaurant. —Chris Clemente
