Tried and tasted just for you

Food is always an adventure, and foodies don't mind trawling the streets, going to food fairs, and checking out all the new restaurant, all in the search for the next new dish to excite the taste buds. There is nothing like that gratifying feeling when you've discovered something new that just tastes soooo good.

We decided to help you out by tasting our way through Zomato Philippines’ Best of 2019 The Food Fair, held early this month in Makati. It was, as you may have guessed, a one-of-a-kind foodie adventure. If you missed it, don't fret. We at  Metro.Style did the work for you and found these eight cool concepts that you can try for yourself.

No, it’s not a riding app. JoyRide MNL serves customizable rice bowls that will "take you on a gastronomic adventure." The Build-Your-Own-Bowl lets you design a meal dictated by your personal preferences, choosing from a wide variety of mains, starches, veggies, and sauces. The best part is every bowl is served fresh and hot. Mercato Centrale, BGC, or follow them on Instagram.

They don't just serve good food but fine entertainment as well. Sammy Isidro has been callled ‘The Singing Chef,’ and he gave quite a performance at the Zomato Food Fair to the delight of the hungry crowd. SAMMY'S, his restaurant, is known for breakfast and dinner comfort food. 4. Ambassador's Ice Cream

Delicious, dairy-free, and vegan — is the promise of Ambassador’s Ice Cream, which serves plant-based ice creams in flavors like Mango Float or Tsokolate Tablea Ice Cream Pie. If you've room for one more, do ask for the Horchata, which is simply unforgettable. Level 3, Mega Fashion Hall,  SM Megamall, or follow them on Instagram.
