Zomato Brings The Best Restaurants Of 2019 Together In A Food Fair This Sunday

Did you know about these places?

With its vibrant food scene, Manila is the kind of city that sees new restaurants popping up in the blink of an eye. It’s all so exciting, but can also be confusing, and if you’ve got limits to your budget and appetite (like who doesn’t?), the question on your mind is: Where do I eat next, and what should I order?

In an urban jungle like this, an app that serves as restaurant guide and curator can make a whole lot of difference between finding a really good restaurant where you will be happy, or just going with a meh experience. Zomato has been providing this service since it launched in Manila last 2013. Today, it helps more than 3 million users find the restaurant that they need from among the 20,000 establishments in Manila. Not a bad service.

To level up its service, the Foodie Choice Awards were born in 2015. This is an annual selection of the best restaurants in a city, based on a full year of votes and user ratings. This year, the Foodie Choice Awards 2019 features 150 restaurants that consistently received high ratings on the app. These included Feta Mediterranean, Lime and Basil Restaurant, Leon Authentic Mexican Cuisine, Soru Izayaka, and Mazendo.

You can have a sampling of their food when all the winners come together at the Zomato Best of 2019 Food Fair on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Paseo de Roxas. From 3 pm to 10 pm, you can indulge in a fun afternoon of good food and live music, with delectable dishes from Three Guys and a Grill, Chupacabra, Buns and Bros, Rico’s Lechon, Go Salads, Ambassador’s Ice Cream, and many others. The highlight will be the awarding of the Foodie Choice Awards 2019, which will honor the top ten restaurants to consistently garner the highest reviews via the app.

A Sunday evening of laidback fun with lots of good food and music — what could be more perfect? So, see you there!
