LOOK: Iconic Antonio's Tagaytay Is Opening In Manila
This will be the hottest place to dine in Manila this year. Watch for it!
It takes a master’s touch to transform a car warehouse — even one that deals only in Porsches, Audis, Lamborghinis and Bentleys — into a spectacular space for one of the city’s most sublime dining experiences. We’re talking about the soon-to-be-opened outlet of Antonio’s Tagaytay that will open in Manila.
David Ong let the cat out of the bag when he posted this preview of the space, which is clearly still in the midst of constructions. But that didn’t stop us from reaching out to Antonio’s to get the scoop.
The new restaurant will be housed at PGA Cars along EDSA, just two doors down from Edsa Beverage Design Group. Considering its location, the space will definitely not have original restaurant’s serene bucolic atmosphere, set as it is amidst lush gardens in Tagaytay. Instead, the ambience will be contemporary and modern while retaining that essential Old World elegance that Antonio’s in Tagaytay is famed for.
A lounge on the first floor will be the perfect place for cocktails, priming your appetite for the meal to come. The mezzanine will host a chic yet casual dining space that will definitely be more relaxed than Antonio’s Tagaytay's ambience, but expect to find the same polished, thoughtful service, elegant cutlery and snow white tablecloths. There will be no skimping on quality!
The menu is still in the works, but expect to find Antonio’s Tagaytay signature favorites. Considering the location, a business lunch menu might be on the offer, too. Meanwhile the coffee and cocktail menu will be developed by David Ong of Edsa Beverage Design Group.
A partnership by Antonio’s and PGA Cars is one that stands for premium quality, excellence, and the kind of luxurious experience that you can only have with refined good taste.
The restaurant will open later in the year. Since space is limited, table reservations are recommended. This is going to be the hottest place to dine in Manila this year. Watch for it.
