What’s Good To Eat In Europe? Get A Taste During The First European Culinary Week In The Philippines This September

Fifteen European and Filipino chefs are coming together in Manila and Cebu to participate in the 1st European Culinary Week in the Philippines, a gastronomic event organized by the EU-Philippines Business Network (EPBN). This week-long celebration will highlight the best of European cuisine through the cooking of the guest chefs, as well as showcase (mostly) food and beverages produced in Europe. The European Culinary Week will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Manila and the Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan from September 10 to 16, 2018.

Participants can expect to learn more about European cuisine and products, while culinary students will also have the chance to meet and work with the visiting chefs. During the media launch held at the Grand Hyatt Manila, EU Ambassador Franz Jessen added that the European Culinary Week is about nurturing the people-to-people links between Filipinos and Europeans because both share the same passion for food, family, camaraderie, and togetherness as he encouraged everyone to celebrate European cuisine.

The week-long celebration kicks of with a Charity Dinner on September 10 at the Grand Hyatt Manila, followed by Culinaria on September 12 at the Grand Hyatt Manila, and the Culinary Weekend in Cebu from September 14 to 16 at Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan.
