GOOD NEWS! Crosta Pizzeria Opens Branch In Salcedo

Even in the sea of pizza restaurants and delivery services that sprouted all over Manila during the pandemic, Crosta’s stood out with its signature sourdough crust that was so crisp yet chewy, with lovely charred edges and fun flavors. So when the original stall temporarily closed in [date], it was devastating to the pizza loving denizens of the city. 

Good news is, Crosta’s has reopened in a new location in Salcedo Village. Currently open from 12 noon to 7 pm, but there are plans to extend hours soon. The industrial-looking space is primed to send out hordes of Crosta’s sourdough pizzas, including Detroit-style, Sicilian, and their best sellingi vegan pizzas. 

A small, homegrown business, Crosta’s opened i 2017 with just six original flavors, but every single one of them a hit. While popular from day one, it was during the pandemic that Crosta really stood out. Pizza was the perfect takeaway food, said co-owner Ingga Cabangon Chua, but even so they focused on every step of the process fine tuning.

“Salcedo village was always our “dream” location, one because we live in it and two because we absolutely love the community. Salcedo park was recently renovated and has kid & dog-friendly spaces; it still has that tree-lined charm and we thought it would be the perfect launch pad for our first branch since we were very familiar with it,” says Ingga.

Adding that they outgrew the space in Poblacion. “We absolutely love Poblacion’s vibe so we do plan on opening up shop there again, however, it got to a point where we were not able to keep up with the demand while producing pizzas at the standard that we wanted.” 

Just as they’ve done from the start, Crosta’s menu will constantly be updated so expect some cool new desserts, too!
