Get ready for a delightful treat as Kiwami Food Hall gears up to welcome you at its brand-new spot in Alabang Town Center (ATC) on September 1, 2023.

Following its success in Bonifacio Global City since 2021, the premium Japanese food hall is all set to expand and offer even more culinary goodness south of Manila. To celebrate the amazing contributions of these four chefs, the first 150 customers on Kiwami ATC’s opening day will receive a free Ebi Meshi Set on September 1st at 12:00 noon when Kiwami's doors officially open.

When asked about the new branch in Alabang, Michael Concepcion, Head of Marketing for The Standard Group, said that it felt like “it was overdue”.

“With a successful Yabu in ATC, we've been patiently waiting for the right moment to introduce more of our offerings and our portfolio to this area,” he explains. “Our partnership with Ayala to work together at Alabang Town Center was the perfect match. Through Kiwami, we're bringing our best under one roof—reintroducing a brand new Yabu space, Ippudo Ramen, Tempura Specialist Hannosuke, Yakitori Hachibei and of course our beloved Kiwami Soft Cream. It's our tribute to the loyal patrons in the South.”

Just like its original branch, Kiwami is bringing together four amazing chefs, each with their own unique skills and specialties, and give foodies more reasons to love Japanese cuisine.

Chef Kazuya Takeda, known for his fantastic katsu and recognized by Michelin Bib Gourmand, is the mastermind behind Yabu, Manila's beloved Japanese tonkatsu house. Ramen genius Shigemi Kawahara, a three-time Master Chef Hall of Famer, has made Ippudo a top-notch ramen destination.

Katsunori Yashima, a respected expert in yakitori from Tokyo's Hachibei, has introduced Manila to the delicious art of Japanese-style grilling. And then there's Shinya Kaneko, the creative force behind Hannosuke, drawing on his family's tempura recipe to create something truly special.

“The ATC space shares similarities with our Kiwami location in BGC. In both, you'll find a stunning 600-square-meter space featuring our four Master Kitchens, offering a delightful range from Tonkatsu and Ramen to Yakitori, Tempura, and Hokkaido Soft Cream—all expertly crafted under one roof,” Michael points out.

He adds, “What sets Kiwami apart is our unique concept, meticulously designed by Tokyo-based architects, MYU Design. We steer clear of the conventional food court model and lean more towards a full-service Japanese restaurant experience. Each specialty kitchen is equipped with specialized chefs and kitchens to ensure that we maintain the expertise and quality of each individual dish.”
