If you’re wondering how one of London’s most prominent chefs interprets Filipino food, then sign up for Romulo Café’s Zest Quest Asia Benefit Dinner to be held on Friday, April 12, 2019. The seven-course dinner will be prepared by Chef Cyrus Todiwala OBE DL of Café Spice Namaste in London, and assisted by students of the London Geller School of Hospitality and Tourism and Romulo Café Chef Aone Rebueno. Zest Quest Asia is the United Kingdom’s most prestigious culinary competition designed to raise the profile of Asian cuisine among student chefs. The winning student team earned a food and cultural trip to the Philippines as their grand prize. The founder of Zest Quest Asia, Chef Cyrus happens to be the chef-patron of the longest running Michelin BIB restaurant in the world, Café Spice Namaste. Proceeds from the evening go to Zest Quest Asia and The Foundation for Professional Training Inc.
