Laksa Sushi Bake from Babu
Our favorite new item on Babu’s menu is this creamy, spicy laksa-style sushi bake overloaded with seafood. Order for delivery from thegridfoodmarket.com. Check out @babu_ph on Instagram.

Truffle & Four Cheese Quiche from Lazy Oeuf by Metronome
Chef @miko.calo’s brand new dish sets a new standard for cheese quiches. Each buttery crust holds a light, custardy egg filling generously dosed with brie, Emmental, Gruyère, cream cheese, and black truffles. My favorite new indulgence. To order, call (0917) 147-3776. Follow @lazyoeufbymetronome to browse the menu.

Burnt White Chocolate & Honeycomb Caramel Gelato from The Test Kitchen
Chef Josh Boutwood is a magician in the kitchen, and we’re up for his limited run, micro-batch gelato. Only available until supplies last, and we know demand will be high. Put your orders in now. And while you’re at it, pick up his weekend specials, too. It’s Nashville chicken with preserved gherkins and guacamole, or Dry-aged ribeye steak with rice and cauliflower salad. Available this Saturday and Sunday. Call (0977) 288-5751 and browse @thetestkitchenmnl for his menu.

Piri-Piri Fried Chicken by Spicebird Grill
We got an early taste of Spicebird’s brand new dish (it drops tomorrow, April 10, Saturday). This crispy bomb of a fried chicken is glazed with signature piri-piri sauce. Squeeze a lime over the chicken, dip in even more sauce and eat with hot rice. Check out @spicebirdgrill on Instagram or order online via the link below.

Food Grove’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
For days when you want to do a little “baking” with the kids, Food Grove’s frozen chocolate chip cookie dough is so handy. Just pop in a preheated oven and bake for 12 to 14 minutes and you get chewy cookies with @risachocolates. Yum! Follow @foodgroveph on Instagram. Order online through the link below.

Thigh Joint’s New York-style burgers
We’re always amazed by how versatile burgers are. A new favorite is Thigh Joint’s burgers that are a lot of fun to try. The Tokyo Tebasaki Chicken Sandwich, for example, has a crispy thigh fillet tossed in tebasaki sauce in a toasted brioche bun, with scallions, cucumber, lettuce and Japanese mayo. Order a different kind of burger yourself. Send a DM to @thighjoint.ph on Instagram.

Mister Dandan’s Ginger Scallion Chicken
Mister Dandan is the fairly new venture of Chef Patrick Go (of Gochu-Gang fame), and it immediately attracted cult followers of his oh-so-delicious Duck Rice — juicy fat duck breast on Hainanese rice. But have you tried his Ginger Scallion Chicken? It’s whole chicken slow poached in aromatic chicken broth, with ginger scallion sauce and comes with kecap manis and sriracha sambal. Just the dish to make weekend meals a little special. To order, call (0917) 510-9757 or send a DM to @misterdan.dan on Instagram.
