She also finished in the top 2 in the Queen of People’s Choice Award online voting segment.Present during the Miss Tourism Worldwide 2026 coronation night was ALV Pageant Circle president Arnold Vegafria, whose presence boosted de Mesa’s morale.As he takes pride in de Mesa’s victory, Vegafria remarked: “Even before her departure, I had a pretty good feeling that Anne would bring home the crown. After all, her wealth of pageant experiences strengthened her resolve for victory, and of course, she has blossomed even more before the start of this pageant journey.”He added, “I’m happy that Anne’s crown strongly aligns with our organization’s vision for promoting tourism, and I am optimistic that we can do so much to uplift our country’s tourism industry through this humble victory.”De Mesa’s winning court includes: Kuma Ruth Ndain of Cameroon as first runner-up, Geili Meigas of Estonia as second runner-up, Milana Roothooft of Belgium as third runner-up, and Pakjira Kusolthipjaroen of Thailand as fourth runner-up.De Mesa’s victory stands as another testament to Vegafria’s winning streak over the past two years, including the back-to-back victories of Miss Grand International (2024-2025), Face of Beauty International (2024-2025), Universal Woman (2024), Reina Hispanoamericana (2025), Miss World 2025 (Miss World Asia title), and Miss Asia-Pacific International 2025 (first runner-up).Among Vegafria’s earlier victories are Reina Hispanoamericana 2018 (Winwyn Marquez), Miss Multinational 2017 (Sophia Senoron), Miss Eco International 2018 (Cynthia Thomalla), and Miss Eco Teen International 2020 (Roberta Tamondong).De Mesa is the second Filipina to win the Miss Tourism Worldwide crown, following Zara Carbonell’s historic victory in the pageant’s inaugural edition in 2018.
