A long-awaited celebration, a night of revelry to toast the year’s efforts and a much-anticipated event after more than two years of lockdowns, COVID restrictions and quarantine… These are most of the attendees’ sentiments at last night’s Star Magical Party 2022.

It was indeed a starry night, full of glamor, whimsy, creativity and heart-felt celebration.  Guests walked into the Sheraton Manila Hotel venue welcomed by décor that proclaimed the purity of the season with white as the standout theme.

Behind the look were none other than master event stylists, Gideon Hermosa, Michael Ruiz and Teddy Manuel.

Garbed in a Michael Leyva creation, Gideon Hermosa told host DJ JaiHo, “It has to be magical. ‘Yun lang talaga iyon.  We played with different textures of white.  Makikita niyo ‘yung shapes and different textures of white,” when asked about the inspiration for the décor and set designs.

Michael Ruiz, also stunning in a Michael Leyva, seconded Hermosa’s sentiments.

“That’s its actually.  After 3 years, this is the first get together.  So we wanted to make it very magical and special… alam mo yon, yung hindi talaga malilimutan itong gabing ito,” referring to the dream team’s scheme for a memorable evening.

To underscore how big these names are in the events industry, DJ JaiHo quipped, “Nadidinig ko rin ang kanilang mga pangalan sa mga ganitong engrandeng event.”

After all the costume, venue and décor preparations, it is but natural that one would like to keep the memories through photos and videos.  When it comes to documenting an occasion, the event’s planners knew exactly who to call… None other than celebrity favorite, Nice Print, provided the photography for the party.

“We’re very very proud to be part of this big event.  Of course, [the] Star Magic Family, pamilya na talaga sa amin,” shared Charisse Tinio, founder of the popular photo and video service.
