This New Event Space in the South Will Be the Next ‘It’ Destination
Lakehall at Nena’s Sanctuary is the first phase of this soon-to-be lifestyle retail and leisure destination in Laguna
The venue means everything when it comes to mounting the special occasions in our lives—whether it be your wedding or celebrating your mom or dad’s milestone birthday. The place will forever hold the most cherished moments from such affairs, thus we make sure that it’s one beautiful space to remember.
Adding to the throng of event spaces near Manila, Lakehall at Nena’s Sanctuary in Sta. Rosa, Laguna promises to deliver exactly what you need for those important celebrations—and even more. Imagine being surrounded by lush garden views and breathtaking lakeside combined with world class amenities and luxuries, this newly-opened venue is a charming and attractive location that can fit all kinds of experiences.
Lakehall president Crickette Tantoco explains the goal of this new-eventspace-on-the-block. “We want to create modern amenities without breaking the experience of nature—offering contemporary spaces nestled in nature. We are an events hall that you can book as a venue for your milestone celebrations such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, baptisms, and even corporate conventions. But we are also a curator of experiences, and we help you realize your vision for your dream event.”
Generous at more than 1,800 sq.m., Lakehall’s dreamy space is intricately designed with the genius minds of Cardy Papa, Bong Recio and Cyndi Fernandez. Keeping to its nature-filled team, the high-ceilinged hall boasts of glass windows and white interiors to maximize natural lighting and the warm and bright atmosphere of its surrounding landscape. The stunning view of the outdoors instantly makes for a relaxing stay, while its interior details—like the botanical wall detail by House of Precast and tropical chandeliers by Venzon Lighting & Objects—add exquisite touches to an already-elegant location.
The building also houses two bridal suites with garden views, a terrace, an amphitheater and view deck, and a courtyard that guests can enjoy in. The main hall, meanwhile, could serve both large scale and intimate events, depending on how big of a space you need. Of course, a fully-equipped kitchen, two prep kitchens, modern comfort rooms, sound system, parking spaces, driver’s lounge, and more are also available within the vicinity.
And more exciting things are in store for this up-and-coming destination, as the owners reveal plans of expanding beyond just an event space. In the subsequent phases, expect the opening of Rico’s Cafe (slated to launch before the end of the year), a flower shop, garden shop, gift shop, home store, and specialty food store. Nena’s Sanctuary, in a nutshell, aims to be the first well-integrated retail and garden center in the country.
In celebration of Lakehall’s opening, it currently houses a month-long open house featuring several pocket events. Take inspiration from the tablescapes exhibition by Zenas Pineda, Anton Barreto, Moss Manila, and Barbie Pardo-Tiangco and Statement Theory, as well as display setups by Jo Malone London, La Mer, Rosa Clara, Artifeks, and Spruce.
Moreover, get ready to shop for quirky finds and gourmet picks from retail pop-ups by Dough & Grocer, Type A Coffee, Recess, Hindy Weber, Fifty Shades of Dough, among others. Chef takeovers will also bring the most delectable bites in Lakehall, serving the best offerings from Margarita Fores until June 4, Rico’s Cafe from June 5 to 15, and Bizu from June 16 to 30. And if you happen to stop by in the evening, take a breather and sip on good wine and spirits from Ralph’s Wines & Spirits.
