These Bespoke, Monogrammed Entertaining Essentials Make For Thoughtful And Stylish Holiday Presents
The new Classic Collection by Oliver & Maude (O&M) is a godsent for those looking for thoughtful gifts this coming holiday season. The items are also a perfect addition to your Christmas table setup; just a few items from an O&M collection can give your table presentation a posh touch that's sure to impress your families and friends.
The company is the pioneer for locally produced bespoke accessories and luxury home products. Established in 2013, O&M first made a name for itself by creating beautiful trays and wooden boards that feature signature artwork from various artists. The company also became well known for their distinctive engraving feature, wherein monograms or other symbols can be stamped onto the aforementioned items.
Today, O&M has expanded their monogram line into fine porcelain, flatware, crystals, glassware, and other seasonal offerings. They also have monogrammed linens and prints, candles, and personalized scent bottles.
O&M also features the artworks of artists like Tracie Anglo-Dizon, Alex Madrigal Eduque, Vicky Tensuan, Emil Wright, Meng Hua Shen, and Christine Rockett-Vargas. The artworks are used in the company’s monograms and prints.
Metro.Style got to see the new collection first-hand at the house of the proprietress herself, Katherine de los Angeles. The vivacious hostess created a beautiful tablescape for us, featuring the new collection of O&M.
There was a lovely Acacia folding tray, featuring the excellent monogram work the company is best known for. There were crystal glasses, again with the signature O&M engraving, plus a Stölzle crystal whisky glass, highball glass, and carafe.
Also notable and very striking are the agate coasters, which are irregularly-shaped crystalline coasters in various colors. The edges are covered in brass, giving the coasters a luxurious finish. Apart from these, there were also mirror chargers and coasters, which may be engraved as well.
We also marveled at the Llanura cutlery set that includes dinner fork, dinner spoon, and dinner knife. It's available in gold or rose gold. The cutlery sets are also sold in sets of five, which include a dessert fork and a teaspoon. There is also a Martillado set, featuring a differently designed cutlery.
A must-have is the gold tray with solihiya and clear glass, a unique and absolutely scene-stealing item. A metal tray with a solihiya board, under a clear glass pane. Of course, the glass may be engraved with a monogram.
Speaking of uniquely designed trays, there’s also an agate tray for those who want a more moderne aesthetic for their table setup. The tray is made of black agate, and has gold handles.
For the wooden collection of O&M, we saw white teak boards in round and square shapes. There were also mahogany boards, and acacia trays with banig and clear glass designs.
Apart from wood, there were also the Floreado porcelain chargers, Noritake porcelain sets, and the beautiful Portuguese colored goblets in clear, black, or white colors. Apart from the goblets, there’s also a smaller appetizer cup variant, perfect for casual party setups.
