This Denmark Coastline-Inspired Bathroom Collection Will Convince You To Go The Scandinavian Route
Going for a Scandinavian interior has become extremely popular nowadays. And even though many would still prefer classic, more traditional home styling or go all-out maximalist with prints, patterns, and other home décor, the Scandinavian’s chic minimalism is where its appeal lies. The clean and crisp feel of Scandinavian furniture pieces, when incorporated in a space, creates a relaxing atmosphere to any part of the house.
Acknowledging the Scandinavian design trend, Thailand-based company Siam Cement Group partnered with an award-winning design consultancy in Scandinavia, Jacob Jensen Design. Their collaboration led to a stellar and innovative bathroom collection under SCG’s brand COTTO called the Skive Collection.
Featuring stylishly curated forms of basic sanitarywares like wash basin, faucet, toilet, and shower panel, Skive Collection encapsulates the ultra-luxe Scandinavian minimalism with cutting-edge technology. It was inspired by the picturesque coastline of Northern Denmark’s Limfjord in the Municipality of Skive (thus, its name), where the Danish design group was established. Combining nature and innovation, the products make for one-of-a-kind additions to your bathroom.
The Above Counter Wash Basin’ slopes and angles reflect graphic expressions especially inspired by a traditional washing bar. With contrasting sides of sleek lines and smooth surfaces topped with the warm teak wood tray on a clean white sink, elements and materials used embody the modern Scandinavian interior space.
The Lever Handle Basin Mixer, on the other hand, carries the balanced contrast of colors, spaces, and surfaces, complemented with its efficacy in seamlessly providing proper water temperature to its user. The One Piece Toilet and the Touch Screen Shower Panel, equipped with smart functions, complete the bathroom series. The shower can specifically memorize your favorite water temperature and has a magnetic attachment for the shower head, making bathtime simpler and extravagant at the same time.
