5 High-Tech Appliances You Need In Your Home This 2019
In the Southeast Asia and Oceana Forum 2019, Samsung unveiled the newest gadgets that will enhance the living experience in every home. Known for its innovative efforts that have made its brand the most trusted in ratings, Samsung continues to bring the most cutting-edge technology to its users.
“2018 was a momentous year for Samsung. We delivered breakthrough products that enrich the lives of our consumers. We were once again named the best and the most trusted brand for the seventh consecutive year, according to the annual survey of Asia’s Top 1000 brands by Campaign Asia and Nielsen. We have also retained the number one spot in TV market share for thirteen years straight,” Samsung President Eugene Goh shared in the forum attended by 250 media members from the Asia and Oceania regions.
In this forum, Samsung introduced appliances that deliver “immersive, personal and intelligent” experiences:
1. The QLED8K TV
Your home viewing experience is about to get more intense with the QLED8K TV. Promising crisp details, this TV is equipped with 8K resolution, with sixteen times more pixels than the Full HD. This TV’s pixels amount to more than 33 million, making your viewing experience that much more vivid. Along with 8K resolution, this TV uses Samsung’s HDR technology, allowing its brightness to adapt to the conditions of the room where it is being viewed. Its intense blacks, paired with its full array local dimming make its scenes livelier.
2. The Wall
Ideal for collectors of video art, Samsung’s The Wall takes the technology behind LCD and LED signage further via its MicroLED technology that operates through LED Modules that look like LED wall tiles. This allows for a customizable modular viewing experience that caters to a home’s aesthetic and design.
3. The Frame
“TV when it’s on, ART when its off—with The Frame, Samsung brings to the home not just a TV, but an object of art all in one gadget. When not in use, this TV may be programmed to play a slideshow of screen savers with images of art from Samsung’s partner museums and art galleries: Museo del Prado, The Albertina, Saatchi Art, ArtSpace, Sedition, LUMAS, and Magnum Photos. Enjoy works of art by the masters—Monet, Rubens, Cezanne—without leaving your home through The Frame. You can also command Bixby, Samsung’s answer to Amazon’s Alexa or The Google Assistant, from The Frame.
4. The Soundbar
This year, Samsung brings new soundbars equipped with Dolby Atmos and Bluetooth connectivity. In collaboration with its own Audio Lab and Harman Kardon, Samsung introduces the HW-Q70R and HWQ60-R. These promise listeners a more accurate sound experience via its Acoustic Beam Technology, designed to emit crisp, accurate, panoramic sound. The HW Q70-R is available with Dolby Atmos support.
5. The Samsung Family Hub Touch Screen Refrigerator
The Family Hub Touch Screen allows you to make the kitchen the central command of your home. A digital device that functions like an analog tackboard for the family, this gadget allows you to manage your family’s schedule, pin up photos from family trips, and send messages from your refrigerator door. It caters to your life by multi-tasking, allowing you to create your shopping lists while streaming your favorite music, all in the convenient comfort of your own kitchen.
