This Online Hub Is The Home Décor Enthusiast's New Best Friend

The new online resource does two things for you: presents design pegs and pieces for different areas of your home, and actually helps you source furniture and accessories needed to recreate the look exactly the way it's presented, locally.

HomeBase.ph is a Filipino home décor lover's secret weapon and new BFF in one!

The innovative website created by siblings Lui and Berns Castañeda is the answer to many Filipinos' most pressing concerns when it comes to decorating their personal spaces.

Like many homeowners who see a beautiful magazine spread featuring one-of-a-kind pieces perfect for their living room, get inspired by creative bedrooms on social media, or even spot a random setup in person and wished they knew how to get it for themselves, this duo knew how frustrating it could get to simply want these things, but be without the means to find or purchase the items necessary to achieve them.

When this happens (and it often does), design pegs stay as pegs and never come to life. Homeowners either never find what they're looking for, or settle for second best and come up with a look that isn't exactly what they had envisioned.

Add to the mix the time-consuming effort to visit stores to canvas for items and the need to enlist professionals to help in decorating, and homeowners end up feeling even more discouraged from making their design dreams come true.

For home décor enthusiast Lui and architect Berns, they refused to put up with this forever, hence, the birth of HomeBase.ph.

To guide you through the HomeBase.ph experience, here's a rundown of how the website works:

1) Log onto the website. You'll immediately be presented with different tabs that categorize what they offer, like accessries, storage options, furniture, lighting, and more. Aside from the tabs, the ready-made pegs that can be recreated in full are also easily viewable on the homepage. To narrow down your décor hunt, a search bar to filter results is provided, too.

2) Once you're browsing a category or viewing a peg, hover over key pieces, and discover where and how to buy them. HomeBase.ph provides relevant information (i.e.: brand, item name, price, store location, website, contact details) to make the process so much easier.

3)  Visit the stores or suppliers, purchase the pieces you saw, then have a blast redecorating your home!

4) As an extra treat, those who make profiles on the website get to mark their favorite products for wishlists, do side-by-side comparisons for up to six items, and be inspired by home tour vlogs, tutorials, and a trend round up via HomeBase.ph's blog entries.
