EXCLUSIVE: A Sneak Peek Of Kat Ramnani And Christian Bautista's Sleek, Industrial New Condo
Newlyweds-to-be Kat Ramnani and Christian Bautista are creating a home where they'll live out their happily ever after together—and their teamwork is admirable!

The lovebirds worked with local custom-made furniture business Danext Furniture Concept, New York-based interior designer Theresa Asis, and AR Eustaquio Jr. Construction and Gen Services to bring their vision to life: a seamless combination of Christian's preferences of masculine and industrial finishes and Kat's love for polished and well-styled spaces. While their personal aesthetics might seem like they belong on opposite ends of the design spectrum, they managed to make them work incredibly well together.
In Kat's words, "We came to a compromise and decided to merge our styles. The space (floor, lighting, kitchen, and colors would adhere to an industrial look with lots of wood, cement, and stone materials), while the furniture, drapes, and art accents would be a bit more styled and colorful."

The result was a cohesive living and lounging space that showcased both their personalities equally; after all, a married couple's home should be a true reflection of their lifelong union defined by the fair give and take of things—including how one's shared home should be designed.
Overall, thanks to the couple's team effort, their condo unit featuring three rooms (a master bedroom, a recording studio for Christian, and a guest room) and three bathrooms is exactly what they had planned it to be: thoughtfully designed yet still welcoming enough for friends and family to feel right at home in every visit. It's beautiful and sleek yet unitimidating and approachable.
"We wanted our place to feel like a beautiful home—a place that you want to spend time in, but weren't afraid of using," Kat explains.
Also worth mentioning are the international designers that guided Kat and Christian throughout their design process: Timothy Oulton, Stephen Gordon, Kenneth Cobunpue, H.D. Buttercup, Prizmic, and Brill were all inspirations to them.
But more than getting through the nitty gritty process of building and designing their private space, this happy couple enjoyed the experience for what it's taught them about each other. Kat in particular enjoyed the moments Christan got to make use of his degree in Landscape Architecture and opened up to new design ideas and finishes, specifically prints and colors!
