Tropical Finds For The Home In Arte Fino Resort

Decorate the home with light, woven fabrics and furnishings just in time for summer

The Philippines is known for its beautiful islands, scenic beaches and its sultry summers.  As the country approaches the season of sun and surf, many look forward to all the fun that come with it: pool-side entertaining, grilling outdoors and lanai parties.  There’s just so much to do during the season, and even as the country makes its way out of the pandemic, many still prefer to spruce the home, making it a summer refuge.

For those who are gearing up for a summer at home, ARTEFINO Resort is on.  For the first time since it was founded in 2017, ARTEFINO will mount a four-day pop up inspired by a vibrant resort lifestyle distinct to the Philippines. From March 23 to 26, 2023, the North Court of the Power Plant Mall will be transformed into a festive summer oasis filled with handpicked fashion, body care, and home finds that inspire 365 days of sunshine.

Because the Philippines pretty much enjoys warm weather all-year, embracing what the country’s artisans and craftsmen know best is a practical choice for the home: weaves made with rattan, bamboo, jute and other local fibers in the form of trays, baskets, placemats and mats come in different shapes, sizes and colors at the fair.

“It’s practically summer all year round in the Philippines, except for a few months of rain. You can plan a trip to any of our beautiful beaches. For us, summer isn’t just a season. It’s a lifestyle,” says Marimel Francisco, one of the founders of ARTEFINO.
